Education

Bachelor of Fine Arts, Queensland College of Art, Griffith University, Brisbane — Graduated 2015

Artistic Profile

Based in Brisbane (Meanjin), I adopt a multidisciplinary approach blending painting, ceramics, and surreal/pop cultural themes to explore Australian culture and identity through vibrant, immersive works. My practice is distinguished by surreal pop-inflected installations and sculptures of everyday objects reimagined in odd, evocative ways. This approach frames familiar suburban spaces and artifacts in a new, thought-provoking light.

As a high-school Visual Arts teacher, I bring conceptual rigour and cultural consciousness to my studio work. I work across acrylic, ceramics, and installation, often creating environments that highlight alienation, nostalgia, and the absurd within suburban life.
